Well its Wednesday, I still have done barely any study (I know you are all sick of me saying that .. just study woman!!!), but I did get a heap of stuff done for the Retreat on teh weekend, and some shopping so thats all cool!

I read Tom's reader with him last night, and took Jordan to Cubs, as well as cooked a yummo dinner (sort of a chicken cacciatore thingo) .. then I went to bed at 9.30pm .. I was exhausted!!!

So, to today .. Jordan is home (not so sick), I think he is a bit flat though, there is this virus thing going around which doesn't to be doing more than making you feel yuk, so it is a possibility. 

I have another 8.5 x 11 pack for you today, also with some other goodies. This is a little pretty one, rather than that Grunge look I love so much.

Dusty Floral has 4 papers, 4 flowers and a mini tag. All very cute, I can see some niece pictures being scrapped.

I also put together a pic of all the Grungetta Series so you can make sure you got it all! There is heaps there. I have reached 50% capacity in my 4Shared account so I will need to start retiring kits soon, so don't miss out!

I think that is it for today, I still have so much to do and its Bowling night tonight. The kids go straight to Bowling after school and we get home a bit after 5. Sam is catching the train to and from work now as well, so he gets home a little later than usual, oh well, we are getting there!

On your blog, you say something about "a complete newbie". My first thought was that you are saying you're new to digital art but I'm thinking you can't be! Surely? This swirly/grunge set is just fantastic. I was googling for swirls and came across your site. I've downloaded all these ones so far and thank you very much for your beautiful work! I love them all! You can't have too much grunge.

Yes Robin I am an absolute newbie. I have been using Photoshop for actual Scrapping for a year or so, but that is honestly and truly in a drop and plop sense. I did not use anything beyond resizing and maybe the occaisional drop shadow. When I had a knee reconstruction on the 22nd June, I was stuck in bed for a couple of weeks, so I sat there with the computer and just played. Slowly but surely I picked up some idea of what I was doing and started posting freebies .. I doubt if I had not had the opportunity to just sit and do that and nothing else for 2 weeks I would have developed, so maybe the knee reconstruction was good for something!

Firstly some drivel .. I went to get my x-ray done today .. my goodness .. I knew they put a screw in my knee, and here I was thinking some dainty little thing .. oh noooo .. it looks like a gigantic woodscrew, half into my leg!!!! That tendon aint going anywhere. He said they can take it out if it annoys me .. I think not!! you are not going anywhere near that screw, my leg might fall off.... 

Ok .. now I know your waiting .. hehe I am a bit cruel ain't I ...

Well I did say a couple of days ago I was working on some Grungetta stuff .. well today I have some for you .. its very very pink .. but cool!! I have also embellished a couple of the swirls for something different .. lol .. hope you like them!

Oh My Goodness .. I am so overwhelmed by the interest in the Grungetta Series, absolutely. Over 300 downloads already for the Grungetta Swirls, and this for a complete newbie! I thankyou all for you wonderful comments, I love reading them all. I just enjoy sharing with you. Well. finally I am here ... this morning my blog was down, well actually I think LiveJournal was down, what a right pain. but here we are, I have just come home from a day of shopping and lunching with a dear dear friend .. phew .. wonderful after being so housebound, but now I am stuffed to my eyebrows, I really need to go lie down I think, maybe even nap. I want to say a heartfelt thank you! I stumbled across your blog on DSO & I love your page!. I am a SAHM with 3 children & my husband is an active duty US Marine. Well I am so excited, I love how this kit has come out, I can really see how much I am learning everyday! Maybe it has been good that I have been stuck at home with nothing to do!

Anyway I have divided the kit into three parts, to be distributed over the next week (probably sooner, knowing me .. I get so impatient).

Do you like the name? Grungetta is Oscar the Grouch's Girlfriend, and well it just fit, what with the grungy swirls .. lol

Anyway, here is the preview of the whole lot, she is all packaged up and waiting :

Also did you see my knew identity? I redesigned myself at 5am this morning, I was up because William had made it into our bed at about 4am, he had a temperature and just could not settle. At 5 I gave up and just got up, Sam thinks I should have gone to sleep in William's bed, and if it was midnight I would have, but at that time of the morning it just wasn't worth it. And hey .. look what I came up with! Pretty Snazzy I thought :)
